You likely know what the ACLU does— they reach out and represent anyone whose fundamental freedoms have been violated —and they’ve been doing it since 1933 in San Diego. They work on cases that involve criminal justice reform, education equity, immigration reform, LGBT equality, privacy and technology, religious freedom, reproductive justice and voting rights.
